We have 15-20 networked computers, most running XPpro w/updated versions.
Recently, about 4 of us users have been having similar problems. We run the
applications like Word from our computers, but use the data files from the
server. One person said that torwards the end of the day his computer get
really slow and he has been disconnected and has to save to his C:drive.
Reboots and all is OK. Others have had same problems with slowness,
disconnected. I have run Adware, Spybot, cleaned up any temp files, ran full
Norton on all computers and they are clean, but are still having these same
problems. Two of us are using Office 2002 and two are using Office 97. I am
at a loss of what is going on, as nothing has been done to server or our
machines, but we are having problems. Any possible thoughts to this would
really be appreciated.

Memory leaks on the system, problems with a network switch or cabling,
lots of possibilities here.
