I am a BT broadband custumer with a 512k asdl connection. However BT do not
offer an upgrade to 1mb is there anyway that I could terminate the contract
without haveing to pay the remaining 7 months of the contract due to BT not
being competative? If i cancel and go to plusnet for example I would save
over 10 pounds a month and I would be able to get the 1mb line?

No, you can't cancel your BT Broadband contract for that reason.

btw BT Broadband have announced they will be offering a 1MB service for
£38 - launching in a couple of weeks I believe.

Regards
Sunil

Don't bother, £38 a month for 1Mb is a ripoff, you can save at least £7
a month by shopping elsewhere....

Look at an earlier thread in this newsgroup '[UK-Bug] News .. BT to download
cap ? and ummm BT )' dated 13/1/04.

An unenforced 1GB/day download limit on a 1MB adsl line - sounds like a
truly cr#p deal.

Martin.

Yeah I know what do you think I want out! But I would have to pay the
current 7 months fee's for the current server. That is why the Topic is :
"Get out of BT BRoadband contract with out paying?"
