How to get line starts - db noise etc

I am currently with Pipex, ADSL, through a USB ADSL Modem (not a router).
Could someone tell me how to find out my line attenuation and noise etc.

Thanks for the link. I have run the test and it runs all apart from the
last one (Connecting to internet). It says it cannot connect. I have
checked my firewall (Win XP one) and that has it set as an exception so is
letting it through. Also tried disabling the firewall and it still cannot
connect. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't beleive it matters, you just save the report and look at the
xml with IEn as far as I remember.
