I am using Bellsouth DSL and get a dynamic IP set every so
often. I know that at a command prompt, I can type
"ipconfig" and get the IP my computer is currently using to
connect to the broadband hardware.

My question is, how can I get the IP that my broadband
hardware is using to connect to the Internet?

Thanks!

Try entering http://192.168.2.1 in your web browser and
login to your router (default ID is admin, without
password; if you added your own ID/PW use them instead).
Check the status info. Not positive this is the help you
need but it might be a start anyhow.
