Generosity of BT home hub owners

Thanks all round to the 860,000 owners of the newer variety of home hubs
which have become Openzone and BT FON hot spots. I assume that all these
people feel the happy glow of generosity in donating some of their
bandwidth and domestic electricity bill towards BT's profits.

I'm sure that all these good people ARE aware of this ?

Far fewer than know about Phorm, and they are few and far between.
Where are the investigative journalists?
FTPing their copy from their cars on suburban streets perhaps?

Same with Skype, most people don't know that it eats up their bandwidth
while they are logged on.

Note the references to BT FON - which is residential. (My neighbour got
opted in and wasn't best pleased when she found out).
