I had the same problem with my Centrino,
however after removing MSblast it went away. I was told that the Centrino
had problems with D-Link and LinkSys APs which had not been updated. Cheers

What's MSblast? Whatsit do? I've had the same problem with a Gateway Centrino
and my WRT54G, which *has* been updated.

MSBlast is a worm. I found mine at
HKey/Local Machine/Software/Microsoft/Current
Edition/Run/Autorun="msblast.exe." There are
several versions. A virus finder like Norton will probably come up with it.
Or, to learn more about
it punch Msblast into Google. One thing Centrino users can try is making
sure that where you find
short or long in your wi-fi setup is to select "long." P. S. I think that
Norton is furnishing a free
program to help. Luck
