A sensible warning from a highly trusted Internet Network search site,
aimed
at email admins who may have been contemplating whether to use the
SORBS or
SPEWS blacklist, among other lists, as a spam-blocking filter.
Using either of these two rogue lists means blocking non-spamming email
servers and loss of legitimate inbound emails.
SPEWS is regarded as one of Internet's biggest SCAMS, run with a criminal
mentality, with its maintainer in hiding.
The simple advice is: If you value your customers or users, you should not
be using either of these lists.
