FTP using Belkin F5D7632-4

Have been using a NetgearDG834G for ages with no probs.

For whatever reason tried the above Belkin router/modem which also worked
fine BUT found that we couldn't FTP to any of our web sites! Back to the
Netgear FTP works fine!
Nothing about FTP settings in the instructions.
Using 8Meg Max from Namesco.

Have completely reset the Belkin to factory settings in cae of some odd
firewall setting but no difference.

Any idea why and how we get round this please?

Does your ftp client have an active/passive setting you can play with?

I got round this by enabling all ICMP packets in Sygate Firewal
between the router and pc. Dunno why but it worked.
