I have two Windows Server 2003 boxes. One has an MSFTP
server and the other one is being used to connect to the
first server by ftp (MSFTP client). I am receiving
an "inode is remote" message when I try to "put" a file on
the server from the client. The file is over 4GB. I have
read that the MSFTP client can only handle files of 2GB
yet I have transferred a 3.5GB file before?? Is this
correct? Is there a way round this other than using
another ftp client program?

Many thanks

Try asking in the iis.ftp group, some of the Softies monitor that
group and are regular posters.
