Hello folks,

I am wondering if someone knows what the key strokes are to check how
fast a FTP transfer is going without interrupting the transfer. I have
used it before, but cannot seem to recall it from my memory banks
/boggle.

Thanks in advance!

-Tg

The most basic and simple way is to turn on `hash' - it will print a #
for every 1024 Bytes received. You can just watch it as you go.

There Is a simpler way I just cannot think of what it is. Counting
these hash marks is out of the question in many cases. The file in
question is 2.6 Gig. Trying to find the transfer speed and elapsed
time half way through would take the brain power of a savant.

Thanks for the replies though. If I find the answer I'll post it here
for everyone
