I have recently installed Windows server 2003, and can no longer
access a FTP site thati use frequently. I have tried several 3rd party
clients including cuteftp, and ws-ftp. I get through to the site, my
user name and pass are accepted, but i get the following
STATUS:> Login successful.
COMMAND:> PWD
257 "/e:/ftp" is current directory.
STATUS:> Home directory: /e:/ftp
COMMAND:> PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (213,115,14,39,68,73)
COMMAND:> LIST
STATUS:> Connecting ftp data socket 213.115.14.39:17481...
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls

Then it just hangs until i get a trashed response.
I have tried it in both port and pasv mode, and it still works on
windows xp and 2k. The port number for this ftp is 21021.

Martin,
I am seeing the same issue.
Have you or anyone else come across a fix?
I have found some posts saying that the server might have issues if
you are behind a proxy and the address is seen differently from the
client. Makes sense, but I am pretty sure my W2K3 FTP server worked
for a while. Now it does not. The port is the standard port 21 on my
setup.

TIA,
M@
