Hi All,

I have installed the latest FTAM rpm (ISODE 8.0) on redhat linux but i
am unable to use ftam. I want to test ftam by transferring a small file
but unable to do so. I understand that i need to first run the FTAM
daemon (ftamd) and then only i would be able to transfer files (if i
use a loopback connection for FTAM on the same linux machine).

When i run the FTAM daemon, i get the following error:

- - - - - - -snip - - - - - - - - --

ntt: /usr/sbin > ./iso.ftam
starting
exception AcInit: Presentation disconnect [bad initialization vector
(Invalid parameter at session)]
action A-ASSOCIATE.RESPONSE(reject)

}
}
}
}
-------
initialization: failed
Lower layer failure: bad initialization vector (Invalid parameter at
session)

- - - - - - -snip - - - - - - - - --

ANY pointers/manuals to configure the FTAM on linux machine would be
helpful. I have gone through the relevant man pages but they are too
brief and not very useful.

TIA,

Prashant
