Has anyone every seen a Windows 98 or Me system not be
able to login to a Windows 2000 Server via FrontPage?
The event log shows invalid password or password
mispelled, but the password is correct.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Joseph

You may need to prefix the user name with the domain name: domainName\User

Thank you for the advice. I gave it a try and it didn't
work. If I create a website which is extended with FPSE
2000 The WinME system publishes to the site. Once the
website has been extended with FPSE 2002, the WinME
system will no longer publish to the site. Very
strange. I've tried everything my feeble brain can come
up with. I thought it might be NTLM v2, but going to
NTLM v1 didn't help.

What a mess. Thanks again
Joseph
