I am using a wireless D-Link router connected to a cable modem. All
of my computers are connected to the router wirelessly.

With this setup, I am getting disconnected very frequently from the
internet. But strangely, the wireless connection is excellent and my
computers always stay connected with. When I connect the cable modem
directly to a computer, the internet works fine.

Can somebody please tell me how I can get the wireless router working
without being frequently disconnected from the internet?

hello,

how easy is it to reconnect after the disconnection ?

do you just send a reconnect to internet request to your router or do you
need to restart your modem and/or your router ?

when I'm connected to the router, often the internet gets disconnected
for minutes at a time. It reconnects by itself after a few minutes.
