freezing

I got MN-500. It seems to be making the computer freeze
up. The computer work fine when the cable runs to the
computer but not when it runs to the router first. I don't
understand it at all. the signal gos fine to my laptop.
it's the desktop that is making all the trouble. HELP!

It is most likely either spyware or a virus. To check for a virus I'd
recommend a free online virus scan over at
http://housecall.antivirus.com while for the spyware I'd recommend both
Ad-Aware & Spybot Search & Destroy.
