Hi,
Is freeswan Ipsec dead? (http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.ipsec.html)
Is anyone using freeswan.. or are there any alternate Ipsec implementation
for 2.4 kernels that are better than freeswan.
comments appreciated.

freeswan is very much alive and kicking. I have successfully set up a VPN
between 2 linux boxes but I have had less success getting Windows clients
connected.

Cheers

I got it working SSHSentinal on Win98 dialup through adsl/Linux-freeswan
to LAN. However, I could not get x.509 certificates working, so I had to
use shared secrets. For Linux2Linux I used 1024-bit RSA keys. I even had
it working between dynamic IPs (using no-ip.com dynamic DNS for
server end).
