Hi everyone,
I haven been in here for a few years,,,

Just wondering if anyone can help or has any Ideas,!!

I used to be on freeserve anytime, then I changed to freeserve broadband,
My email is the same , Username and password as it was on anytime!!

I have a Laptop and need to log on through a Dialup modem ,, Ive tryed to
use the 0808 anytime number,, but im rejected! this is obviously beacause im
no longer a anytime customer..
So I was hoping it was possible to connect to Freeserve through the modem
without using their 0845 number..as I am already a paying broadband user!,
Is there a dialup number I can use??,
Can i change settings. eg protocols n all that stuff!!

I know its a long shot but any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Alan (E-Mail Removed)

I don't think that'll ever happen (though it would be nice!)
If you want free dial-up, why not use a trial period (e.g. AOL!) disc?

The Anytime account will now be cancelled - so it won't let you dial-in.
You could NEVER have used it for laptop access away from home - both Anytime
and Broadband will only work from one nominated "home" phone number.

If using the laptop at home you could connect the laptop to the main PC via
Ethernet and use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) to allow the laptop to
use the Broadband - or buy a router!
