Is anyone here with Freeola, part of the Entanet group I think? will be
moving house shortly and fancy their 8mb 330GB allowance free set up deal
with 3 month min contract for £24.99 a month

They come in 6th from the top here
http://www.dslzoneuk.co.uk/isp_ratings.php

Comments good or bad please.

The other "big 3" resellers (asdl24, fsnuk, vivaciti) have a better rep,
similar prices and 1 month contracts.

Just want to add, don't need anything like 330GB allowance a month, get by
just now with less than 40GB, but for the price and this ISP's high ranking
as well as free set up, seems like a good deal, they must be 6th best ISP
for a reason, nobody here use them? interesting to note, 4 of the top 5
ISP's are now Entanet re-sellers, would go with "Be" but their service is
not available in my area but Freeola is.

Thanks for reading

OH, and please nobody recommend me Plusnet, Pipex or Talk Talk, been there
done that, and never again

Do they really have a better rep? they also charge for set up, as I'm moving
house and have new number and line, need to watch the pennies, thanks for
feedback though.

But I take it there is nothing wrong in using an Entanet ISP then?

You will find they all charge for new connections. BT are the one billing
£40+VAT

They all use the same network - only difference is who you deal with for
customer service and billing. Can't speak for CS but freeola seem to have a
few more billing problems and they got into hot water recently after
charging business customers VAT yet not being VAT registered at the time.

I agree there isn't much between them though.

Nope. Been with then for 4 months. 30gb peak, 300gb offpeak, £19.99 a
month.

It actually says free set up on the Freeola web site but I guess this partly
offset by the minimum 3 month contract?

It says "If you already have broadband on your BT line from another provider
(e.g. BT, Wanadoo, AOL, Tiscali etc.), you can switch to any of Freeola's
great value broadband tariffs for FREE."

i.e. new connections cost.

BTwholesale used to charge £40+VAT for an activation, it is less than
£35+VAT now.

i'm with vivacity, also an enta reseller, 30gb peak, 300 offpeak, £20/month,
free migration from another isp, 1 month contract, excellent support (so
far). best isp decision i've ever made (aol/bt/pipex tried)
one of the good things about the enat resellers is the 1 month contract, if
you change your mind, just move!
