Freedom2Surf rolls out 8Mb and aims for 24meg service
for same price as 1mbit

Bring on LLU and we shall see!
100mbit SDSL for 30 quid a month or less soon enough.

& Bt will be raking it in renting out the empty space in their exchanges to
everybody who really wants such a service....

I believe you could well be correct. Not too long ago, 33.6k was "the
maximum you'll EVER be able to get down a local phone line".

100MBit over copper???? Maybe for those that can run a CAT5 cable into the
exchange.
