Free WiFi Network Listing

Sorry for all of the posts. New to Wifi and pretty excited by it!

Anyway, is there a web site that lets you choose your city/state and view
listings of available WiFi networks contributed by members of the web site?

If there isn't, there should be. If I find a free network here in Baltimore,
I can upload post the approximate location of the signal so others are aware
of it.

Please porvide a link if this type of site already exists.

Depends where you are. New York City is pretty well covered.
Other cities much less so for free spots.

Which, suprisingly enough, is out of date.

The 7/29 press release talks about Cometa sites in Connecticut, but
neither mcdwireless.com or cometanetworks.com lists any of them.

I went out over lunch and found a Cometa signal outside the McDonalds
on Route 37 (3 Padanaram Rd) in Danbury. Their was no outside signal
at the McDonalds in Brookfield or on Route 6 in the Bethel/Danbury
area. I didn't check the McDonalds near the mall.
