It's an offence to knowingly without authorisation alter or read
information on a computer. (to summarise an offence under part 1)
When you use a AP, you are modifying the data stored in it as your packets
go through.
The fact that WEP is in use would mean that it would be very hard for
you to argue that you thought the owner intended for you to use it.
And your post even harder.
I think there is also legislation that would make the act of cracking the
WEP code a seperate offence, but my brain is not cooperating.
