I've got two subnets in my domain:

192.168.1.0/24
192.168.2.0/24

One server (SVR-1) acts as a border router between the two. In addition to
RRAS, this server also runs DNS and DHCP.

From the .1 subnet I can ping all IP Addresses in the .1 and .2 subnets. I
can ping all hostnames in the .1 subnet. I cannot ping hostnames in the .2
subnet.

I know it's something simple (usually is). Any ideas?

TIA,
J.R.

If you are PINGing by NetBIOS names, you need a WINS server. Broadcasts are
not forwarded over the routers. If you ping by fully qualified domain
names, your DNS should resolve for you.
