I am trying to update the base station, but it prompts me
for my password which I cannot remember.

Do I have to uninstall the software, then reinstall?

thanks,
Sean

Restore the factory default settings of the Base Station.
There is a little button on the back of the router that will do it for you.
Use a Q-Tip with the cotton torn off and press the button.
If it's an MN-100 Router, you need to hold the button until the lights
flash...
If it's an MN-700 you'll just need to press and release.
Those are the only two I have experience with
Then the default password is: admin
