Hi,

I know it's entirely my fault, but at least I'm big enough to own up to
it.

I have an Origo-BWR5400 wireless router, which I must say works fine,
but noW that I've been a complete idiot and forgotten the password I
can't change anything.

Can anybody suggest how I might reset the router to the default
username and password; funnily enough, I know what they are because
the're printed in the user manual.

Mnay thanks

Resetting the router will set the pass back to default. If that fails
leave it switched off for a decent period of time.

If not that then contact the Routers help.

Are you sure you've forgotten it, and not just mis-typed it? If your typing
was as accurate as that used in the title of this thread, it won't have
recognised it!<g>

If it's like other routers I've come across, there should be a reset button
on the back which has to be pressed in with a straightened paper-clip. To
reset to factory defaults, it may require this button to be held in while
you power on, or maybe held in for 10 secoconds or more - rather than a
quick jab to re-boot it.

Are you sure you typed the password correctly?
