Forcing Rasdial to Disconnect

I'm having a very odd problem here... I'm running windows server 2003.
I'm trying to connect to a vpn, the icon says 'connecting' but rasdial
says i have no connections. When i double click the connection I get
to the property page. I can't figure out what command to run or
service to stop to make this problem go away...
