forcing one connection

Looking for some insight in how to force windows generally XP, to only use
one specific connection when their are multiple connections available,
especially if the others are using unsecured connections I find it just
keeps bouncing from one to another
any help appreciated

first turn on ssid broadcast on yours.

Thanks for the feedback
I assume then you can uncheck the connect when dialog for the other
neighbourhood networks which will not allow the system to connect
