Force Orinoco PCMCIA card to eth1

I am running Slackware 9.0 and I would like to force the
Wireless Orinoco PCMCIA card to always be set to eth1.

When I dock the laptop with the wireless card installed,
it comes up as eth0 and the wired card is not detected.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
