Hi guys,

I've searched everywhere for the answer but to no avail. I have setup
folder redirection on one of our file servers (win2000 server), so when they
log on for the first time it creates their "My Documents" folder to a share
\\<server>\users. This has been going well for the last year but now Im
running out of hard disk space and I need to move all the users folders to a
much more bigger server with more capacity while I use this server as a
development one. I've seen this in one of the threads before, but can
anyone re-enlighten me as to how to perform this task? Also in the event
that I run out of hard disk space in the futre, what is the best way to go
in adding more capacity to an existing server.

thanking you in advance
Mike

PS: for this exercise I must move all the users folders to another server

create the share on the new server, copy the data over to the new share from
the old server, and modify your gpo to reflect the new location
test it out with a few users, and if it works with the folder going to the
new server, you can delete the data off the old server

as far as adding more space, that will depend on your disk configuration
