I have four employees. There is one desktop running xp
pro. There are three laptops running xp home or pro. the
owner has a laptop that he leaves at his desk. the other
two have the potential of going home.
They have a six port linksys router connected to the isp
t1 modem. They are all admins of there own machines. I
connected a 80G maxtor USB external to the desktop and I
created folders for each employee. I would like to secure
one folder that is the owners. How do I do this? They are
in a workgroup, no server.
Thanks pgs

If the folder is on NTFS, look in Help and Support for "Encrypt a file or
folder." This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware
and software, not networking in general. If you have further questions, you
may want to post to one of the networking newsgroups like
microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web.
