Flashing a Linksys WRT54G

If I flash with latest firmware will I have to redo all the settings or
will they stay the same. Thank you.

What hardware version WRT54G? Look on the serial number tag.

I've done quite a few WRT54G firmware upgrades. Some of the very old
and early upgrades required a grand reset and reloading all the
settings. However, that was many years ago. Most everything I've
done these daze with the stock Linksys firmware has NOT required
reloading all the settings. However, play it safe and at least
scribble down the first page of internet settings.
