Bought a WUSB11 at a garage sale..."works great".
I could get it to "connect" but no visibility of the
computer on the other end.
Took it apart and found a solder bridge completely
shorting out the antenna. Fixing that resulted in
visibility of the other end but no data transfer.
Flashing the thing fixed that.
Not at all clear how it could have had 100% signal strength
with the shorted antenna and still not work?? But
there is tiny clearance around the antenna connection
and I'll bet this wasn't the only one shorted.
Now, If I could find a flash update for my WUSB11 ver 2.5
to make it work, I'd be a happy camper.
