FIX: D-Link Di-624 Rev C DHCP problem with WPA and Intel Centrino clients

PROBLEM: With D-Link DI-624 Rev C running firmware 2.70, the latest released
version, and configured with WPA-PSK, Intel Centrino wireless clients (e.g.,
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Mini PCI Wi-Fi card Model WM382200BG) are unable to
obtain a DHCP lease.

FIX: Upgrade the D-Link DI-624 Rev C to firmware 2.71 Beta 10 (29 Sep 2005),
available at <ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/di624_revC/Firmware> (direct link
<ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/di624_revC/Firmware/di624_firmware_271beta.zip>).

Any idea what the fix actually fixes? I'm having the same problem with
two Linksys WAP54Gs and a bunch of Dells, and i'd /really/ prefer not
to have to wait till Linksys throws out a new revision!

Looks like a WPA-PSK TKIP security negotiation problem. Centrino devices will
actually negotiate wireless properly with the problematic D-Link firmware if
the notebook computer also has a wired Ethernet connection to the DI-624.
