Hey all... Went to linksys's site and found that there is a new firmware for
my wireless g router out. I downloaded it and its only the .bin file, no
tftp or whatever it is application to install it like last time. That's
kind of stupid. Anyone know where it is or what to do?

Thanks,
John

Log onto your router & click on the "Help" tab.

Click the link that says "Upgrade Firmware". Browse to the bin file you
downloaded.

Okay then. I'll assume your router is still at it's default configuration.

Open your internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address field.

A screen will come up asking for a user ID and password. There is no user
ID, but you enter "admin" (without the quotes) into the password field.

Congratulations, you've just logged into your router.

Holy guacamole... I remember filling out these fields but I guess I forgot
how I did it. Thanks for answering my question Bob.
