Dear All,
I own a locked ( by ISP ) Speedtouch 350 modem.
It's not possible to use the reset/default button to unlock it.
telnet / ftp and http requires a combination of user and password which I
was not provided with.

Does anyone know where to get firmware for this modem/router ?
It's not available on the manufacturers homepage.

May be one of you is able to read it from the hardware and send it to my
attention ?

thanks & regards,
Wolfgang

So your modem doesn't dial at all? if it does, either clear the viri or
do/undo whatever the ISP gave as the reason for locking you out. If it
doesn't dial (using a speaker of course) check for warrenty. Try first with
hyper terminal and your own number. If you don' get a busy signal, there you
go.

Sorry for not being precise enough. The modem is connecting via DSL - it's
working.
But the ISP which provided me with this modem/bridge set a password which
does not allow me to
change the settings neither let me access the web server on the modem.
So I'm not able to access the web page which offers analysis on connection
time etc.

All services ( http / ftp / telnet ) are locked and I don't have the
user/password combination for that.
It seems that the ISP got a special firmware.

That should all be in your installation manual, and unless you set up a
password (with my I.P (dsl too)) I don't think there is an account/password.
