help i have a problem i have a bb conection belkin 4port router 2 pc all
is fine can see both pcs & share files cool, but when i do a security
check it says 1 of my ports is open the port is called icmp or ping? next
the 2 pc has xp on it & a firewall i have checked the firewall settings &
it say the icmp ports inbound & out are blocked wat can i do please help

Your router has a public IP address, and that's what the security
check is scanning. Your computer is protected by the router's
built-in firewall and is invisible from the Internet.

Check the router's documentation to see if it has a setting that lets
you disable ICMP Echo, so that the router doesn't respond to pings.
