If you're using ICS on your gateway PC, that PC is the only one that needs
any form of additional protection. Whether it be hardware (router with
firewall) or software (firewall) it needs some sort of protection since the
gateway PC is directly exposed to the Internet. The client PCs, if used
intelligently, should need no firewall software on them.
