Firewall Protection

Hi All,

I am connecting to internet (DSL) using a hub (sometimes only a crossover
cable) on a home network. Zone Alarm Pro asks me for permission when an
executable tries to connect from the main computer, but NOT when a program
tries to connect from the clients.
For total protection do I need Zone Alarm installed on all three PC's or can
I configure ZAP on the server PC to protect all of the PC's? (I do NOT use
the XP firewall - it is too non-specific.)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is your DSL hub a NAT router, if so then the second computer's
connection is seperate to your main one so it would NOT show up on
ZoneAlarm.

For ZA to show connections via the second computer I think your main
computer needs to be a gateway.

Get the freebie ZA for the second computer, I've been using the free
edition on my network with no problems.
