Firewall in Edimax router. Any good? Tutorials?

Hi.

Just upgraded my PC at last and I've included an Edimax AR6004A router
switch for my ADSL connection. I previously had an Alcatel USB 'green
frog'. (Yes, I know the Edimax is Alcatel based too). However I've
always used the free zone alarm for my protection. Now I have no idea
if the firewall built into the router is any good or how to use it
properly. It's supposed to do lots, according to the manufacturers
hype, but there is no obvious, easy link caled 'firewall' on the
routers setup pages.

I'll take more time to explore in the next few days, but until then
has anyone here got one of these or can anyone point me to an online
tutorial for this type of firewall? I think I'll have to find one of
these firewall test pages to see how I stand at the moment.
