Hello ...........

I am about to buy an ADSL router that has a firewall built in. DO I still
need the software (Kerio) firewall as well please?

Thanks

I would leave it in place, if only to stop any malicious code from
sending home any information. The routers firewall, if it's set up
properly, will stop incoming attacks but normally won't do anything
about any out going traffic.

Agreed. I use (the free version of) ZoneAlarm as a software firewall on each
of my PCs in addition to the firewall in my router.

Excellent, thank you for the replies gentlemen,

I will, as suggested, leave the software firewall running.
