how I (finally) got my palm zire connected to the WLAN

It took me some time, but I finally figured it out. Here's what I
learned:

1) you must turn OFF bluetooth in order to use wi-fi
2) using the palmone wireless card really drains the battery fast, turn
wireless OFF if you are not actively using it.
3) the range on a palmone wi-fi card' signal is about half as good as a
laptop's card
4) the palmone wi-fi card is 'b' mode, so make sure your router is set
up to operate in b mode.
