Hello everybody:

I don't know if this is the right place for such a question, but i will try
anyway.

I'm studing Computer Science in the Speciality of "Computer Networks and
Operating Systems", and in these last years I have been interesting more and
more in Linux OS. Because of this interest, once arrived my turn to develop
a Final Thesis, I would like to do it about Linux focused in Computer
Networks. The issue is that my Thesis Director is not able to suggest me any
theme now, and I have been trying to look for specific themes but i wasn't
very successful

So i would like to ask to the community if you can suggest me Thesis themes
to think about or places to look for them. In fact, I have already thought
about. maybe, Linux cluster Servers with old computers, but is just a
general idea and I'm not even sure if it's a enough big theme for a Master's
Final Thesis.

Thank you!!

Toplus

Why not analyze the Linux networking architecture, its
performance in heterogenous networks, netfilter and QoS
capablility and performance?

Ciao, Horst

For completeness he could consider how honeypots are constructed and
operated with user mode linux virtual networks too if he's running
short of material to write about!

Actually it's my understanding that a number of hosting services are
operated with virtual linux boxes run from UML.
