Filesharing Through 2 Routers

Hi folks. I have a LAN which I can't seem to get to work. It consists
of Macs, which normally work under 1 router.

I bought a professional router to serve the whole LAN. However, I have
a laptop and want to use my DLink 624 for wireless access. I thought
serving an internally forced IP through the DHCP engine would handle
the DLink, and it does. I serve the laptop through forced IP as well.

I tried using the DLink as a switch, but it doesn't work that way.

Anybody have any suggestions to make the DLink transparent? It isn't
stable enough to serve the top of my LAN, and I've expired that role
for it.

Cheers
