After installing a Ethernet Network Card 10/100, I get a
message in the boot up process that says it can not find
vnetsup.vxd, then the same message saying it can't find
vredir.vxd and another saying it can't find dfs.vxd.

After I hit enter for all of them the computer boots up
and seems to work fine. I don't know if the card works
because they haven't connected my DSL. I have no yellow
question marks when I went into my Device Manager.

Hope anyone can help.

Mike

If the machine works fine (as you say), why bother?

If it does not work fine then make sure to have your
Win98 CD handy when re-installing the card.

Have your Win98 CD when you do this...just in case it asks for it.

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Network

select Client for Microsoft Windows and hit remove...then hit

Add->Client->Client for Microsoft Windows

and reboot when finished.

Good Luck...
