Hi,

Is there a way to monitor who is accessing my files and folders over
the network?
I mean other administrators can connect to C$ (or any folder on my pc)
how can I monitor who is accessing my files...

thank you...

You can type the command "NET SESSIONS" to see who is accessing, "NET FILES"
sees what they've got open.

before it shows up in the Event logs to use this nifty utility, auditing has
to be enabled on the machine, whether thru Group Policy or a local policy to
monitor files, folder and/or printer access. That would "Object Access" in
the policy to audit these type of events.
