file transfer from Unix to PC

I have connected my PC to a UNIX old NCR machine with a serial port.
But I couldn't transfer the files from the old NCR machine to the PC.
Can anyone help on this? What commands shall I use?

What methods have you tried? Does the ncr machine have only a serial
port, or does it have a network interface?

If you're stuck with using a serial port then see if both machines have
a kermit program. If they've both got ethernet network interfaces then
use those instead.
