I have a desktop and a laptop both running XP home. I am able to browse
through both computers with no problem and see all the files on each.
However, I am not able to copy files to and from each except for to the C
drive or to the shared files folders. Is there a way to copy and paste files
from the laptop to the desktop or vise versa into a person folder under my
documents or something like that. More specifically when I'm on the laptop
and want to move something from it to the desktop I go to my network places
select the C drive on my PC, click documents and settings, click folder named
"Leslie". I am unable to paste files into that folder. As far as I can tell
I have all permissions set to administrator but it tells me that "access
denied. Make sure the file is not full or write protected or not in use".
Something like that. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
