hi ,,i'm now working on design & implementing ext2 &ext3 filesytem in
linux...i surfed the net but i didn't get sufficent code n
documents....could any one knows abt this ,,plz send me the URL or
documents...any one has code .of ext2 filesystem.....

Sure it is contained in each and every version of the kernel. Get the
kernel source and go.

It's already been designed and implemented. Are you looking to improve
it?

Homework / study project?

Googling 'linux file systems' gave about 300 million hits,
including pretty good at the beginning.

thanx for reply,
but wt i'm trying to change the block size more than 4k like 8k or 16k
,
and ext2 will support circular files ?...wt the max size of file size
can we extend that..

1. This seems to be off-topic in a networking group.

2. Please write full words and complete statements, so
a 60 year old can understand what's going on.

3. Did you read and understand the basic design of
the ext2 file system?

4. Is this a homework / study project?
