file sharing setup

Hi all

futher to my previous question, I am reading the java tutorials offline
which uses relative paths, when I try to view them over my LAN on my pc that
has the original its ok but the second pc though the file sharing the paths
needed for firefox to find the gif's etc aren't there ie if I had a path
C:\path\to\directory\picture.gif firefox will check C:\path\picture.gif! is
it firefox or the relative paths thats the problem!
