File sharing programs

How do i set up my base station so that it allows me to
use file sharing programs such as kazaa lite? I did the
port forwarding from the pc set up to the base station
and put port 1214 for the in&outbound port which kazaa
uses, yet it still does not work. do i need to set up the
port forward from a pc other than one in my network? or i
am assigning incorrect ports in the forwards? pls help.

Did you uses persistent port forwarding or application triggered?

I used application triggered.

You need to use persistent port forwarding for something like that.
Application triggered is for when you send on one port & receive a
response on a different port. SMTP, POP3, & FTP would be three examples
of protocols that do that.

Try going into Kazaa and changing the port it uses to 20
or 21. It works fine with my mn-700 and no port
forwarding.
