Hardware:
Base Station MN700 (With latest update)
#1 Desktop\Win98\NIC (old system-just used for old games)
#2 Laptop\WinMe\MN-720 (not fast enough for XP)
#3 Desktop\WinXP-Home\MN-730
Problem #1:
Sharing on all the computers worked before the 1st
fix\flash. Now my XP can see the other systems within the
group, but receives "not accessible" when trying to
access them. MBNU also sees the laptop as a removable
device. I have tried using the online trouble-shooter
without any luck (think it has steps for the PRO version
on sharing that the home version doesn't have NOW). The
Win 98 & ME system can share files without a problem
still.
Problem #2:
My signal strength went down after the 1st update. All
the systems can still access the internet if within 25-
30' of the access station. No new phones or devices in
the house.
I understood the 1st update took care of security issues,
but this has gone too far.
If anyone can tell me how to flash it back to the
original state (before fix#1)...I would very much
appreciate it, or if you have the answer to all these
problems...I'll try it.
